5. Data Retention

• Anonymous UID: Until you uninstall the app or clear app data
• Favourites: Until you remove them or uninstall
• Generated wallpapers: 90 days, then auto-deleted from Storage
• Analytics data: 14 months (Google's default)

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• IN India DPDP 2023 — right to access, correct, and erase your data
• EU/UK GDPR — right to access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection
• US CCPA/CPRA — right to know, delete, opt-out of sale (we do not sell data)
• CA PIPEDA — right to access and correct personal information
• AU Privacy Act 1988 — right to access and correct personal information

7. Children's Privacy

WallGenie AI is rated for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us immediately.

8. Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use your Advertising ID to show personalised ads. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.

For users in the EEA/UK, we will request consent before showing personalised ads.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Firebase Security Rules, and anonymous authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
